We do not recommend turning off the use of resistors, but many people choose not to use them and telling the alarm panel that you are not using them is a quick process.

• Enter programming with *8 then the installer code.
• Next enter section 013.
• Turn option 1 on. This tells the system to look for normally closed loops.
• Press # # to exit programming.
