You will probably want to go through and change your installer code so that is not the default. This is especially true for the master code so someone doesn’t walk in and try 1234 to disarm your alarm system, but it is always good to change the installer code as well. If you change the installer code, make sure that you remember it. Otherwise you will have no way to get back into programming without a full system default. - Enter programming with *8-installer code (default is 5555).
- Go to section 006 to change the installer code.
- Enter a unique 4 digit code. The system should beep 3 times and exit back out.
- Press # to exit programming mode.
