Introducing Our Latest Smart Home System Upgrade
We are thrilled to share details about our latest smart home system upgrade project. The existing Lutron Ra2 system, with nearly 180 devices, was approaching its limit. The system was running slowly, and maintenance was challenging, with some lights and shades not functioning properly.
Upgrades and Enhancements:
- Lutron Ra3 System Upgrade:
- Lighting and Shades: We upgraded the outdated Lutron Ra2 lighting and shades systems to the advanced Lutron Ra3. This upgrade resolved issues with non-functioning lights and shades and enabled integration with Apple HomeKit and HomePod for voice control. Now, users can easily control their home’s lighting and shades with simple voice commands, enhancing convenience and intelligence in daily life.
- Control4 System Integration:
- Seamless Integration: The Control4 system was fully integrated with the new Lutron Ra3 lighting and shades. This integration also included the Control4 DS2 video doorbell intercom system.
- Unified Control: Control4 now manages the home’s background music, home theater, smart climate control, and the control of garage and gate doors.
