Solution for Control4 LED Strip Lights Staying On When They Should Be Off

Issue with Control4 8-Channel Bus Lighting Module:

A Control4 8-channel bus lighting module is configured with one hot wire connected to the top 4 circuits. Two of these circuits are LED strips. The problem is that turning on one light causes the other LED strip to also light up.

Solution:

  1. Adjust the LED Strip Driver: Set the driver for the LED strip to “Non-Dimmable Light (Centralized).”
  2. Rewire the LED Strip: Move the wiring for one LED strip to one of the bottom 4 circuits (on a different hot wire).
  3. Reconfigure Connections and Programming: Reconnect the wiring and reprogram the keypad panel.

This issue may be caused by electrical interference or current cross-talk between the two LED strips or their wiring.
