The early AMX smart systems were highly praised for their powerful integration capabilities and flexible customization options, including audio-video, lighting, security, and other automation functions.
After running for over twenty years, most AV system equipment has become obsolete, and the manufacturer has ceased technical support for the system.
The Upgrade:
- Implemented a WiFi 6 network system.
- Integrated curtains, lighting, audio, and security systems through the latest Control4 Core series processors.
- Enabled convenient control of curtains (opening, closing, stopping) via Control4 lighting keypads or a mobile app, reviving the electric curtain system that has been in operation for over 20 years.
It’s worth noting that while in 2000 we were amazed by dial-up internet with ADSL and surfing the web on Windows 98, local smart home companies in Vancouver were already leading the way in smart home technology. The Paperwork CAD system construction drawings from 2000 are still preserved intact today.
